What types of items do you help pack?
I specialize in packing fragile and valuable items such as china, dishes, glassware, and personal belongings. I can also assist with general household items as needed to make your move as smooth as possible.
Can you help if I’m already partially packed?
Absolutely! If you've started packing but need extra help with specific rooms or fragile items, I can step in to finish the job efficiently.
Do you provide packing materials, or should I have them ready?
I will supply packing materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, and tape, or I can work with what you already have. We’ll discuss the best option for you during our initial consultation.
Booking & Logistics
How far in advance should I book your services?
To ensure availability, I recommend reaching out as early as possible—especially during peak moving seasons. Ideally, booking at least 60 days before your move will give us plenty of time to plan and pack effectively.
Do you help with unpacking and organizing in my new home?
Yes! I offer unpacking and organizing services to help you settle in quickly and efficiently, ensuring everything is placed in a functional and organized way.
Protecting Your Items
How do you ensure fragile items are packed securely?
I use professional packing techniques and high-quality materials to protect your breakables, including china, glassware, and other delicate items. Special care is taken to ensure everything arrives safely at your new home.
What happens if there is damage during packing or moving?
While I take every precaution to pack items securely, I recommend verifying that your moving company has insurance to cover any potential damage during transit. I can also advise on best practices to further safeguard your belongings.
Decluttering & Selling Items
How long will it take to declutter my home?
The time required depends on the size of your home and the number of items you have. During our consultation, I'll assess your space and provide an estimate tailored to your specific needs.
Will you help me sell unwanted items?
Yes! I assist in selling items valued at over $1,000. I take a 30% commission on items sold within 30 days. If an item doesn’t sell within that period, it typically indicates a lack of market demand, and I will no longer handle its sale.
What happens to the items I no longer want?
I can help coordinate donation pickups, arrange estate sales, or dispose of items responsibly. During our consultation, we’ll discuss the best approach based on your needs.
